About me
I’m Ben. A recent mathematics graduate who specialized in algebraic geometry and sheaf theory.
While my background is theoretical, my focus has shifted towards software development. Recently, as part of my Master’s, we wrote a report for Scientific Volume Imaging B.V. This experience helped to cement my interest in pursuing mathematics-heavy software development as a career. I’ve recently also been working on several numerical analysis oriented portfolio projects working in C++.
Alongside my academics, I spent over two years working retail at Decathlon, the challenge of balancing part-time graduate studies along with 16 hour retail weeks and hobbies was very fulfilling.
